Have you ever not agreed with your Husband about something really important?!
DH and I are really struggling to find common ground on what we are looking for in our next house.
He want new, I'm content with one that needs a little love, that way we can put our own heart into the house..
He in fine with a yard that could house a hamster. I want a yard where an elephant could be happy...
He doens't want a hugely long commute to the city/work..
I'm ok with a bit of a drive if it means a bigger house & property....
Etc, Etc.. :(
I know we will find each other in this decision, but man is it making my heart hurt that we aren't on the same page already.

What a big decision on a house! Are you guys buying? The one thing to think about with a new house is that they usually come with some kind of warranty. And things like the roof and plumbing would not have to be replaced for years. Sometimes you can buy an older house and have it inspected and still have unexpected leaks come up and then that's an added expense that you didn't plan on. Good luck on the yard...since you get to stay at home with the kids all day you should have your way on that one!! Although newer homes here do have tiny yards these days! What about Bear Mountain? They've had good sales lately.
SERIOUSLY! I hear ya! DH was saying something about buying a house and how it was wonderful, I then asked him, "were you there?" Agreeing is HUGE, but we found our house...give and take....UGH! Good luck!--oh, CUTE card!!
First... I love your adorable card!
Second.. I fell in love with our house and yard when I saw it... I have a huge house and a huge yard... and someone get's to take care of it all by 'herself'! My husband is not a house fix-it or repair kind of guy... He could care a less if the walls need paint, or the doors, etc. And, I mow the lawn, etc. etc. I do the fixits... So, I am married to the house and yard!
So, just sayin'... be careful what you wish for! They say you might just get it! ..

YES girl houses are a huge decision and what sucks is when you have to move every 3 years .. so glad we only did the one big purchase and rent out ...
