Just for fun card..

I don't know how other people's process works when they make things, but I thought I'd share mine for this card. Just for fun... Which is probably very boring, so feel free to skip over and go straight to the card :) lol

So I started with the background patterned paper, and sewed it to the base of the card, then rounded the corners for a bit of a softer look. Then I just went looking for something circular, and ran across my new package of Jenni B. small circle papers, and pulled out this one. It definitely isn't an exact match for colour but I decided to go with it all the same. I was about to simply sew it as one big circle in the middle, but it just wasn't working so I cut off a small piece of it and sewed the bigger piece to the right side of the card and the other part went in my scrap bin. Then I tied the grey ribbon around the card and decide the whole thing looked unbalanced so out came the other piece of the circle, and I sewed it on, and retied the ribbon. Then I decided the one ribbon didn't have enough draw to it. So then I searched for a matching ribbon, and grabbed the yellow one, and glued a strip underneath. I had the 2 stick pins poking into the yellow ribbon from a Studio Calico kit, and decided to use them too!
The next thing I added was the white bracket on the side, I also added a "Hi" in the matching DoodleBug chipboard, decided I was done, and went to bed.
Then this morning I looked at the card, and decided "Hi" just wasn't the right sentiment for the card. Peeled it off, and decided on this one from an older Cosmo Cricket line, which I think matched perfectly.

So there you have it! I truly never know where the direction of a card is going when I make it. I don't pre-pull product, I dig through my stash as I go, and I almost always "sleep" on my work and will sometimes readjust the next day. :)

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket, Jenni Bowlin
Ribbon: Cosmo Cricket, Maya Road
Buttons: Jenni Bowlin
Stick Pins: Maya Road
Chipboard: Doodlebug
Corner Punch: EK Success

Have a great one!!! :)

Thanks for sharing your process. It's fun to hear how your "brain" was working while showing us the card at the same time. I love how you are brave enough to "draw outside the lines" and put things together that don't exactly match, but they always looks so great!
