Keeping busy!

It has been one BUSY week!!
We just finished having Griffin's 3rd birthday party, and it was a blast. Good times with family, and I had some fun with his cake, and treats.

I also felt the urge to do a bit of scrappy stuff, and here it is.

Started off with the Layout of Griffin, he seriously was the cutest baby ever. Click to see a bit bigger...

Supplies:
Cardstock: Cosmo Cricket/Coredinations
Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket (BoyFriend)
Stickers: Cosmo Cricket (Boyfriend)
Buttons: Cosmo Cricket (JoyRide)
Stickers: Cosmo Cricket
Chipboard Alphas: Cosmo Cricket
Brads: We are Memory Keepers

Then I decided to make a quick card up with the scraps I'd made from the layout.

All the same supplies as above, except some sheer ribbon from my stash, and an American Crafts "2". :)

So here is Griffin's cake that I made him.. My brother called it the "Mullet" cake. Business in the front, Party in the back (middle for the cake though... ;)

And the inside! Griffin asked for a rainbow cake...

Not exactly rainbow colours, but close enough.

Isaiah eating the cake.

Griffy shoveling it in.

And then I made some cupcake lollipops. I didn't try them, but the kids gave them a big thumbs up. I'm no Bakerella, these are marshmallows... hehe

I had so much fun doing these things for him, and he was SOOOoooo happy with the cake, and kept telling me "Thank-you Mommy, I love it SO much!!" over and over. Melt. my. heart. :)

Cake idea came from here, except I brushed each layer of cake with strawberry jelly, and icing. Then I covered the entire cake with CoolWhip, because I like it better, and is not as sweet as straight icing.

Have a great one!
