That one time I made a project life video…

And you guys didn't tar and feather me! ;)

Sometimes it's a very humbling, nervous, scary thing putting yourself out there with something new.  I volunteered to cover a spot in the Project life video series for Two Peas in a Bucket  and I can't tell you how many butterflies I had in my stomach.  It's always one thing when I'm making a film for my own youtube channel, but a whole different bag of worms when it's for someone else.  You always want to do your best, to live up to the other girls, etc.

Sometimes, albeit rarely, people on youtube can be a bit harsh in their comments when things are different, or they don't approve or your take on things.  When I switched to making the Finally Friday video's years ago for Two Peas after Kristina Werner stepped down, well I definitely shed a few tears at the angry responses.  I kept my chin up and plugged away and things got easier, and in the end I really and truly loved doing those video's.  I am happy doing the video's for the Seeing Double series too, it feels like home now!  All that to say I was a bit worried though, and unsure if the PL viewers would be ok with a temporary switch...  But the response since it went live yesterday has been lovely, and made my day.

I am not religious with my PL, but I squeeze weeks in here and there when I have the time and I don't worry about it being perfect, or always in order, etc.  I just don't have the space in my head to worry about those things.  lol.

I should however share my pages more often when I DO make them.  Perhaps I'll try. :)

If you'd like to see all the products I used and the video, please go check it out over at Two Peas right here!

Anyhow, guys, I hope you enjoyed the video, let me know if you have any questions, I'm an open book!

Hope you are having a great weekend!!! :)

Ok... I can't imagine anyone being mean to you. I loved your FF videos and have been watching your videos since you started doing those (and now the seeing double). People can be such pains and so critical. I love seeing your pages and cards and find them be to be very inspiring. It was fun reading the journaling on your PL pages. Curious about the snow thing. Do you get snow where you are now? If not and the temps are mild, may I ask where that is?? LOL The temps here in WI suck. We have had windchills already that have hit 2F above zero. Really?!! I need to live in a much milder climate. And that gash on your forehead... OUCH!!! How did you manage that one?? I bet that one really hurt! Please keep sharing your projects of all kinds. I know there are plenty of us who enjoy them. :)

Hello Laura! I just wanted to stop by and say hello and thank you for all of your wonderful ideas that you take the time to share with us. I really appreciate it. I started watching your videos a few weeks ago and just found paperlulu this weekend. :) Sometimes I can feel your nervousness in the videos and I hope you know it really is nothing personal that people are the way they are. It is their own personal battle. You are beautiful and appreciated. Don't ever doubt it! :) Happy Monday!
