This year I am obsessing over THIS kind of star.. :)
Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket
Chipboard: Cosmo Cricket
Ribbon: Wrights
Hemp Cord: Craft Supply
Jewels: Kaiser Crafts
To make both stars, I used exactly one sheet of double sided paper! How cool is that?!
No scraps, no waste, exactly one sheet :) And, they only take a few min to make...
If anyone is interested in a tutorial, stay tuned, I should have one up on Friday/Saturday if all goes well.
Our house is going to be a winter wonderland of paper snowflakes and stars this year :)
Oh, and new Ikea furniture which I'm going to get tomorrow!! hehee... We don't have an Ikea on the Island where I live, so it's a big event for me to take the 1.5hr ferry ride, and head to the mainland. Sometimes it's years between trips off the Island, and Ikea is always a destination!
Getting a few of these:
They will go in the Living room, which is going to be painted a Robin's Egg blue! I am SO excited! :)
We are also getting a TV stand, a Blue Billy bookcase for the boys, and 2 swings to hang from the ceiling in their playroom! I am so stinking excited! PLUS, I'm going with my MIL, and noooooooooo kids! sigh. I'm counting the hours! hehe
Have a great one!
