Remembering.. kinda.

It seems like a life time ago that I made this page.  I'm not sure I ever shared it here, please forgive me if I have.  It's one of the last few pages I ever made for Two Peas.  Which is still an emotional subject for me, which is why I haven't really touched on their closing over here.  I keep moving it to the "one day" memory bank.  One day I'll talk about how much the site meant to me.  One day…

But today, I've 

been looking through my last few projects I made for them and felt like sharing.  I loved making this page.  I love this picture of my little man, and am so happy I wrote down the origins of his current nick name, as I will surely 

forget.

I used loves of Pebbles Inc supplies, along with some October Afternoon stamps, stickers, and then some happy Doodlebug washi tape. 

I still haven't really found a "home" as far as Scrapbooking message boards go.  I'm not sure anywhere will ever be home as much as 2PS was.  I miss it, and feel the hole where it used to be.  I still haven't deleted the app off my phone.

Where do you call home these days?  Anywhere I should check out?  I miss chatting about this industry with people.

Bella Blvd Pocket Page for 2PS..

Hey guys :)

I have a fun bright pocket page to share with you guys today!  I have so so many of these pocket pages from when I attempted Project life, that I like to use them for everyday scrapbooking for something a little different from the norm.  I love creating the all the little pockets, and it feels a bit like card making when you are working on such a tiny space.  Love it!

How you became The Rooster.

I've been wanting to share this page for awhile now.  I just love the way it came together, and that great goofy picture of my little man :)  He is such a riot these days, and I wanted to document how his nicknames have evolved so much already in his 3 short years.

Capture: Daily Me Time

I kept things quite honest in the video.  I moved things around a lot.  Even after all my moving? I was still not exactly thrilled with it.  That's how it goes though, right?  Not every page has to be perfect, or our best.  Ain't no body got time for that! Right?? ;)

Anyhow, I really enjoyed the process, no matter the outcome.  Which lends itself perfectly to the topic of the page, which is about taking little bits of time out of the day just for me.  It's hard, somedays I am so wrapped up in my kids lives that I forget to live mine.  I'm trying to be better about that.  :)

How fabulous are those stars??  I heat embossed them pretty colours to match and it just makes me happy.

My heart belongs to you...

I can't believe how quickly this month has flown by already!  I have had some form of flu and cold 3times since the new year and pair that with my Fibromyalgia and I become a hot mess.  It has stolen weeks from me.  I really hope the health fairy visits our house soon ;)  We need it!

ANYways… I made these two cards for Two Peas and I wanted to share them here too :)  I LOVE the printables this month and have a big puffy heart crush on the ombre script card.  Love it!

My first Moments video

 I ca't believe I missed sharing this here already!  This is the first video I made for Two Peas this year.  I have never scrapped a school photo before, and decided to get 'er done! ;)

I used lots of the October Afternoon Milk Money line, which is as you can see awesome for school themed pages.

#Bubble Beard

There are times when I really LOVE scrapbooking, like, l.o.v.e. it.  Making this layout was definitely one of those times!  I just had fun and went a little star crazy :)  I love 3D stars and decided to make my own using the Puffy Star Dies from Lawn Fawn.  I use this die all the time and it works perfectly for this technique.

Seeing Double: Fabulous, Awesome, Cool

I somehow totally missed posting these projects here on the blog and I wanted to share them now!

I love doing the Seeing Double videos so much!  They really get me thinking, and using more of my wonderful stash.  This time I used some of the new 2x2 wood veneer cards from Two Peas in a Bucket.  They are AWESOME!  Seriously, I love them so very much.  As you can see, I sewed through them just fine, and have in the past used glitter glue on them too for an extra bit of flair.  They are just so versatile :)
