Hey guys!

I am so happy to share this page that I made for Two Peas :)  It was for the Moments series, which means there is a video to go with it!  I sure hope you will watch it and let me know what you think.
I love the happy colours and cute pictures of my son on his birthday with his brand new bike.

Capture: Daily Me Time

I made a new video for Two Peas, and I'm happy to share the page here today.  If you want to go watch the video, please do so at Two Peas, right here :)

I kept things quite honest in the video.  I moved things around a lot.  Even after all my moving? I was still not exactly thrilled with it.  That's how it goes though, right?  Not every page has to be perfect, or our best.  Ain't no body got time for that! Right?? ;)

Anyhow, I really enjoyed the process, no matter the outcome.  Which lends itself perfectly to the topic of the page, which is about taking little bits of time out of the day just for me.  It's hard, somedays I am so wrapped up in my kids lives that I forget to live mine.  I'm trying to be better about that.  :)

How fabulous are those stars??  I heat embossed them pretty colours to match and it just makes me happy.

Have a great day!!!

My first Moments video

I ca't believe I missed sharing this here already!  This is the first video I made for Two Peas this year.  I have never scrapped a school photo before, and decided to get 'er done! ;)

I used lots of the October Afternoon Milk Money line, which is as you can see awesome for school themed pages.

I would love if you went and watched my video over at Two Peas, and let me know what you think! :)

I love making bright and colourful pages!  Also?  How cute are all those puffy stickers?  I'm obsessed.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!! :)

Seeing Double: Let is Snow!

I can hardly believe this is my 11th Seeing Double video!  This year has just flown by.  I chose to focus on using background stamps on my projects.  I used a fabulous Birch one by October Afternoon, and a gorgeous woodgrain one from Websters Pages, which I heat embossed silver.

If you want to watch the video and see the supplies I used, you can go see them over at Two Peas right here :)

Ok, seriously, how amazing does that silver embossing powder look with a background stamp??? LOVE it! :)

Thanks for looking guys, and I can't wait to share my video next month :)

That one time I made a project life video…

And you guys didn't tar and feather me! ;)

Sometimes it's a very humbling, nervous, scary thing putting yourself out there with something new.  I volunteered to cover a spot in the Project life video series for Two Peas in a Bucket  and I can't tell you how many butterflies I had in my stomach.  It's always one thing when I'm making a film for my own youtube channel, but a whole different bag of worms when it's for someone else.  You always want to do your best, to live up to the other girls, etc.

Sometimes, albeit rarely, people on youtube can be a bit harsh in their comments when things are different, or they don't approve or your take on things.  When I switched to making the Finally Friday video's years ago for Two Peas after Kristina Werner stepped down, well I definitely shed a few tears at the angry responses.  I kept my chin up and plugged away and things got easier, and in the end I really and truly loved doing those video's.  I am happy doing the video's for the Seeing Double series too, it feels like home now!  All that to say I was a bit worried though, and unsure if the PL viewers would be ok with a temporary switch...  But the response since it went live yesterday has been lovely, and made my day.

I am not religious with my PL, but I squeeze weeks in here and there when I have the time and I don't worry about it being perfect, or always in order, etc.  I just don't have the space in my head to worry about those things.  lol.

I should however share my pages more often when I DO make them.  Perhaps I'll try. :)

If you'd like to see all the products I used and the video, please go check it out over at Two Peas right here!

Anyhow, guys, I hope you enjoyed the video, let me know if you have any questions, I'm an open book!

Hope you are having a great weekend!!! :)

Seeing Double: Fabulous, Awesome, Cool

I somehow totally missed posting these projects here on the blog and I wanted to share them now!

I love doing the Seeing Double videos so much!  They really get me thinking, and using more of my wonderful stash.  This time I used some of the new 2x2 wood veneer cards from Two Peas in a Bucket.  They are AWESOME!  Seriously, I love them so very much.  As you can see, I sewed through them just fine, and have in the past used glitter glue on them too for an extra bit of flair.  They are just so versatile :)

And the card I made with the matching supplies! :)

I really enjoyed making these and I hope you like them too.  Happy Monday! :)

In the Mood to Scrap: Little Moments

Every now and then we Garden Girls get the chance to help out and fill in for a spot with a different video series that we normally do.  I jumped at the chance to do an In the Mood to Scrap video!  I have long admired the gorgeous mood boards created on those video's and had a total blast making mine.  It is definitely something I will be doing more often. :)

Here is the page I created which breaks all the "rules" for boy pages by including pinks, glitter, and florals!  But I just don't care.  hehe

If you want to watch the video and see the mood board I created then go see my project over at Two Peas right here :)

Oh!  And I should also mention that most things in the store are all 20% off right now!  Score :)

Movie Maker Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Moviemaker Blog Hop! Today a few of the Garden Girls are joining in on a fun video blog hop showcasing how they use a collection kit to create a project. Be sure to follow the blog hop list below as you hop from one blog to the next.

The list:

The kit I used today is the Echo Park Reflection Christmas kit.

I just adored this kit!  I am such a sucker for collection kits, and thankfully I usually put them to good use.  I love that for me it includes everything I need to make some projects and then all I need is to add some small embellishments for finishing touches.  Projects come together so quickly for me when I work this way :)

I had time to film two cards and then I made one extra one.

Here are the two cards I filmed.

And then of course the entire point of the hop.. ;)

The Video!:

I also made this extra card from the kit :)

The products I used today:

And that is it!  I hope you enjoyed the video, and remember to head on over to Shimelle's blog for your next video! :)

Oh, and there is an awesome give-away on Jen's blog!
