Birthday Loving...

I noticed my stash of birthday cards was getting low so I set off to rectify the situation... :)
First up is some October Afternoon...

Cardstock: Bazzill Basics
Patterned Paper: October Afternoon

Die-Cut: October Afternoon

Alpha Stickers October Afternoon

Acrylic Stamps: October Afternoon

Button: Autumn Leaves

Jewels: Kaiser Crafts

Brad: Making Memories

I am in LOVE with this stamp set by October Afternoon, it's so simple and perfect. I just stamped out a rectangle label and folded it over the card. Then I just secured it with a button and thread.

I also bought some fun new colors of thread for my sewing machine.. yeah, I'm obsessed with it :)

On this next one I went just a wee bit crazy... Please forgive my button sneeze ;)
Although, in truth there is a method to my madness. I glued the Fancy Pants clear frame to the card base, and cut it out to make a perfectly shaped card. BUT, I used a wrong kind of glue and it showed up so badly. Instead of giving up on the project I pulled out the buttons and went to town.
I don't know if I'm a bit different this way, but when I start a project I NEVER know what the final result will be. I just go with whatever happens. Take this card, once I'd put the buttons down I attached the white strip, and added the blue border. I had no clue what to do next so I dug through my stack of patterned paper until something jumped out at me. And the cute little robot from some older BamPop! paper was the winner. So there you have it, a little insight into my odd creative process.

Alrighty, well this has take a lot longer than expected, so I'll post more tomorrow.

Fab cards Lulu. I especially like the folded, stamped rectangle you sewed on the first card. What a great idea.
Kind regards
